Synopsis
Capitalism is collapsing and the criminal economy is taking over... so let's go shopping! Step inside the Duckie superstore and witness the decaying arcades of branded Britain. Conspicuous consumption thrives in this promenade performance featuring saucy shopaholics, supermarket sweepers and sweatshop santas. Purchase your dreams - love, peace and happiness - all boxed up as consumer durables. In an age when we know the Katie Price of everything and the value of nothing, this rollicking good romp asks: Does Christmas mean more than shopping? Continuing their tradition of alternative Christmas shows for the Barbican, including the Olivier Award-winning C'est Barbican!, the Duckie collective returns with more original festive fare. Starring a cast of 20 all star performers including Dickie Beau, Scottee, Jess Love, Ryan Styles, H Plewis, Sheila Ghelani, Roy Kerr, Susannah Hewlett, Harold Offeh and Bird la Bird.

This was awful, lots of us left in little rooms with unfunny scenes and actors, a big let down. One point just left in some holding area and then a long unfunny gag about queing... It all started well and in the end just ran out of steam/ideas and could not deliver. I had to leave sorry to say......
