Synopsis
Johnnie and Lola are teenage sweethearts whose lives are changed forever when Johnnie is signed to a premier league football club (Battersea Park F.C - The Power to their fans, The Dogs to their rivals) and the two of them switch small towns and school-work for fame, fortune and the big city. But it's not all a bed of roses as Johnnie's head gets turned first by an oily agent and then a glamour model from Lola's past. Will 'True Love' make the starting 11 or be doomed to a free transfer back to obscurity?
