| Description | Theatre closed April 1997 due to loss of deal with a major producer and ending of arts funding. A group of producers are seeking a take-over plan with possible funding from South East arts. Set to re-open Autumn 1997 after being saved from being taken over by a supermarket - but there will be changes including loss of the workshop to a cinema. Refurbished 2001. Due to re-open December 2001. Now owned by The Pioneer People. |
