Synopsis
"That is why the good lord made this earth for us. T’explore. I don’t think it’s right for human beings t’stay in one place their whole life... not good for their body and mind." Bobby, Paul and Ange. Four walls, three people, the basic recipe for family life. Down the road in Oil Street there are no walls, just wheels, and a fierce sense of belonging that has nothing to do with place. Two ways of life: yards apart and yet worlds apart. But when Bobby starts skipping school to hang out with Danny, their friendship forces both families to look beyond the walls that divide them.

I really enjoyed this play. The dialogue, acting and set were excellent. Especially the young Irish boy's difficulty in expressing himself, which brought over his feelings so clearly. This is the first play I've seen in years, because I've been disappointed in the past, but "The Way Home" was brilliant. I didn't know Chloe Moss's work before, but will now definitely go to see her other plays. ...
