Synopsis
Victorious and valiant, yet proud and tyrannical, Julius Caesar is murdered by his closest allies. But the assassination divides Rome and bitter war begins.

I thoroughly enjoyed this production, but it was a pity that the many cuts included the opening scene - the plebs are represented by a small group of black-uniformed thugs who suggest the SS rather than the common people of Rome. Otherwise a gripping production with many fine performances....
