Following the ratings failure of the search for a Superstar to fill Jesus size sandals in an arena tour of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's mega musical, expectations for the live stadium show were understandably quite low.

I had moderate expectations as I had seen the reality audition show through to its conclusion and believed that the other semi finalist Rory would have been more suitable. That aside i tried to give Ben an open mind and wait and see how he coped with the big notes in Gethsemane and The Temple but I'm afraid the rigours of the tour appeared to be taking their toll, he didnt make them! Other aspects were fantastic though, the relevancy of the updated setting, Mel C was excellent and so was Pilot although i dont have his name. Thoroughly enjoyed overall....
