Synopsis
Inspired by Henrik Ibsen's stage play A Doll's House and the paintings of Edvard Munch, Caroline Summerfield's Chasing Ibsen is a psychological drama set in the North East of England and deals with the betrayal of friendship through deceit.

Very well done. Death leaves a partner free to follow her career, but a career is not guaranteed to follow her. What her friends knew about the deceased haunts the protagonist, who takes refuge in prescriptions and isolation. Suddenly, everything is much more complexs than the tension between monogamy and freedom. I'm inspired to pick up Ibsen's original play again....
