Synopsis
The dead from the Iraq War include: US military: 207 (US Defence Department 09/07/03) - UK military: 43 (Ministry of Defence 09/07/03) - Iraqi military: 2320 (coalition estimate for Baghdad alone, Reuters 23/04/03) - Iraqi civilians: 1252 (Iraqi estimate, Reuters 23/04/03) 6055-7706 (Iraq Body Count Organisation estimate 09/07/03) - Journalists:13 (Reuters 23/04/03). Some of their names are known, many are not. Composer Stephen McNeff (Matins for the Virgin of Guadalupe II, Passions) will set them to music to be performed by Adey Grummet (The Shout, Charades, Jerry Springer - The Opera) and the Duke Quartet.
