Synopsis
A magical fairytale for all the family. In the Oriental kingdom of Serendippo, the King is looking for a wife. So far, he's seen 748 candidates and rejected them all.... throw in a scheming Prime Minister, magical powers and star crossed lovers and you have all the ingredients for a first-rate rollicking tale and a guaranteed happy-ever-after ending. 'The King Stag' incorporates topical top-ups, ad-libs, wisecracks and knockabout comedy - drawing on theatre forms that bridge times and cultures, including lively Italian commedia dell' arte, Japanese bunraku and Indonesian shadow puppetry. Runs 1hr 30mins.
