Synopsis
A nostalgic story of a young working-class girl’s dream to become a dancer, set in a Yorkshire mill town in the summer of 1939. The play combines Thirties song and dance with the comedy and tragedy of the period to produce an authentic picture of Britain just before the outbreak of war.
