Synopsis
Set in 1970's suburbia, where Beverly and her husband Laurence are hosting a drinks party for their neighbours. There is plenty of alcohol, an array of cheese-pineapple savoury bites and olives, and Demis Roussos on the record player. As prejudices are unmasked and tempers flare, the evening can only end in disaster...

GO GO GO and see this show (if any tickets are left)..its just wonderful. I too have watched the video a frightening amount of times, but watching it on stage with actors re-defining the roles, it feels like watching it anew. Steadman is an impossible act to follow, but Elizabeth Berrington's performance brings out details and ideas in the play that id never thought about before. Her husband is miscast, but the other actors are just wonderful. The set is fabulous aswell. Surely this must transfer into town? ...
