Synopsis
Joshua (South Pacific) Logan's 1954 Broadway hit and David Merrick's first Broadway show is based on Marcel Pagnol's comedic/dramatic trilogy Fanny, Marius, Cesar, set in the port of Marseilles. Young Fanny to avoid disgrace is faced with a dilemma. Musical numbers include Restless Heart, Welcome Home, Be Kind to Your Parents. The show originally starred basso profundo Ezio Pinza.
