Synopsis
Jesus Hopped the A Train by Stephen Adly Guirgis is an emotionally devastating search for morality and grace within the cynicism and daily degradations of the US penal system. It is a play which examines notions of faith and despair, and demonstrates that, even in the midst of injustice and brutality, there exists a motivating desire to prove oneself worthwhile.
