Synopsis

The US Emmy, Grammy and Tony Award-winning comic legend, Jackie Mason, is back in London with an all new show - Fearless at the Wyndhams Theatre. This is Jackie's farewell to the UK and the last chance for audiences to see one of the greatest stand-up comics of all time.

Jackie Mason's brand-new show Fearless will include daily updates on the US presidential race, as well as a merciless look at British politics and, of course, his uniquely hilarious take on every day life. Audiences can expect to hear plenty about David Cameron, Twitter, the Olympic Games, the economic crisis, Obama, Sarah Palin and a whole lot more. As Jackie says, 'If it's in the news, it's in the show!'

Jackie Mason's acerbic, irreverent and decidedly politically incorrect humour has won him sell-out runs in the West End and a record-breaking 23 year stint on Broadway. Also known for his award-winning guest appearances on The Simpsons, Jackie consistently appears in the top 10 lists of the greatest stand-up comics of all time.

But for what? A very old Jew with an unreliable hairpiece who ambles on and sticks a finger at a man in the front row and says, “Yes, you, I’m talking to you. Are you listening? Are you even alive?”

As with Ken Dodd, his only peer at this level, most of Mason’s material is achingly familiar, though the new stuff – the Harry Redknapp schtick, for instan...

Joe Spiteri - 29 February 2012:

Saw jackie mason some years back so was looking forward to seeing him again in Fearless and loved it. I sat in the centre of the front row of the stalls, so felt he was directing all his comments to me!!!. The first half had a lot of stories that I had heard before but still enjoyed and the second half was more new material. His art is to make fun at the Jewish as then he can do it to every other race and it works. His only problem that due to his American/Jewish accent it is sometimes hard to understand hi. Ironically and American Jewish lady that was sitting next to me told me in the interval that she understood hardly anything he said!!!! well I got 95% of it and enjoyed it a lot...
