I saw this show last night. A wonderful collection of songs for and about women but you do not have to be a woman to appreciate it! It runs along very well with good tight continuation and some real gems that leave you breathless..in particular an aged and alcoholic Tracie Bennet yearning for her late mother and later in the show singing a moving song about sisters coming to live out their last days together. The brilliant Golda Resheuvel sang about how she likes a Boy who can dance real slow...beautifully performed that left us wanting more. The whole company and musicians were excellent. I only thought the first half a little too long - gems loose their shine when they are too numerous...In my opinion the basball song/sketch could be cut without losing anything in this wonderful worthwile evening. I may even go again !...
