Synopsis
The play is an erotic political thriller set in 1585 and unravels the dangerous fog of mystery that surrounds the untimely death of an original 'Roaring Boy' - playwright and spy, Christopher Marlowe. The piece also relates the doomed relationship between Protestant spy, Marlowe and secret Catholic, Frances Archer, within the Machiavellian political culture of the time.
