Synopsis
Dive into the beleaguered world of City FC as Punter’s daughter Sharon honours her father’s dying wish to take his season ticket. Meet the northern football manager, the saucy WAG, the sly agent, the new millionaire owner, the ill-informed pundits, the mouthy yobs, the calculating nerds, the posh bloke from the corporate box ... and of course ... the £18m footballer! Who Ate All the Pies? follows City’s desperate attempt to make it through the season without being relegated again. Will Sharon ever understand the passion, the tears, the laughter and the love that binds together the fans on the terrace? Will she ever forgive her father for all those missed Saturday afternoons? Will City FC return to glory before the final whistle?
