Spirit of the Dance is another monster smash hit show featuring at its heart Irish dancing. It has been a global success, having played over fifteen countries and been seen by over thirty million people and the current touring cast are a talented bunch, who will introduce a new audience to the show.
The production, which runs for two hours including the interval, moves at a cracking pace, with the cast presenting dancing styles from around the world, including Scottish, Flamenco and Salsa.
While the dancing is second to none, the recorded music is over amplified and very loud which does detract from the dancers. This also affects the few songs contained in the production as they do not sound natural.
The production is presented on a bare stage with four steps at the back, thereby ensuring you watch the dancers and there are no gimmicks, just dancing of the highest calibre.
