 | Excellent. Very well designed. Enthusiastic perfromances nearly matched the brilliance of the music and lyrics. This is one of my favourite Sondheim musicals and I was very surprised to see how well it worked without the flamboyant West End Sets. | I don't usually write comments about shows but I felt this production left me wih such delight I had to make an exception.
I have never been Upstairs to the Gatehouse before and didn't expect such a vast space.
Into the Woods is a difficult show to pull off but this talented cast of actors deserve a huge amount of credit for such a fresh and beautifully staged show.
The set is also very beautiful and makes you feel like you are part of a very special experience.
Well done and good luck to the company.
A definite must see
