WOW - A fabulous production. All of the performers were absolutely brilliant. No wonder it is transferring to the West End. - 62.254.64.18)

Quite simply brilliant. Fab acting, direction, musical direction and choreography. It knocks spots of other more "fashionable" West End musicals. Am so glad I managed to get to see it. - 62.252.64.30)

Tremendous fun and a deserved triumph for the Menier Chocolate Factory for whom this represents a significant investment. Although some of the singing may not be up to West End standard and the choreography is bonkers, it works for a pastiche of a B-movie. Sheridan Smith is deightful as Audrey, considerably better than her film and off-Broadway counterpart, and deserves a special award for being brave enough to wear a costume that leaves little to the imagination. Although this might be destined to transfer to a larger theatre, it works wonderfully well in this small venue which gives a feeling of inclusiveness particularly during the insane finale. - 194.176.105.38)

It's a bit slow in the first half, but nevertheless it's a very good revival which uses the Menier space well. Paul Keating and Sheriden Smith are perfectly cast, but then all of the performances are spot on, including the terrific girls chorus, and the 'Sunday in the Park' design team score another triumph with Audrey II. This has always been a very underated show, and this is the first major London revival (though the tiny Landor worked wonders with it a few years back). That's probably because it's just great fun and nothing more - that seems to me an excellent reason to revive it. The Menier goes from strength to strength. - 86.138.26.181)

So much has been written about this already, but it's all true. What a plant! The revelation was Sheridan Smith's Audrey, who sang Somewhere That's Green with tears running down her cheeks. But the whole thing had such zip and brilliance; there wasn't a weak link anywhere. And did I mention the plant? - 82.45.120.61)
