Synopsis Based on the gothic stories and illustrations of Struwwelpeter penned in 1844 by a German doctor, Heinrich Hoffman. A junk opera. Shockheaded Peter and his unruly band of wicked youths have horrified and fascinated generations of young people since appearing as Struwwelpeter in 1884. In a pop-up, musical-box modern staging, weird and wonderful tales come to life in an errie and spine-tingling variety show of illusions, puppetry and music.

Brilliant is the word. It's even funnier second time round, when you realise that the apparent 'mistakes' are all so carefully rehearsed. And The Tiger Lillies are an amazing musical trio (although the CD of the show is worth avoiding, as the songs were recorded too early in the show's life and bear only a tenuous relation to what you see 'onthe night'. My kids have been screaming 'Dead! Dead!' ad nauseam ever since. The best show in town for slightly weird families... - USER: Whatsonstage.com
