Synopsis

Winner of 53 Major awards worldwide, the Jersey Boys musical tells the remarkable rise to stardom of one of the most successful 1960s rock 'n roll groups, Franki Valli and The Four Seasons.

So how did four would-be wise guys from Newark, become one of the greatest successes in pop music history? Jersey Boys is the story of how a group of blue-collar boys from the wrong side of the tracks became Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. Along the way they wrote their own songs, invented their own sounds and sold 175 million records worldwide!

Jersey Boys Broadway opened in 2005 and there have now been productions in Las Vegas, Chicago, Toronto, Melbourne and Sydney. The musical is directed by Des McAnuff, with choreography by Sergio Trujillo and the book is by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice Opening in February 2008 at the Prince Edward Theatre, Jersey Boys London won both the Laurence Olivier Award and our own Whatsonstage.com Award for Best New Musical. The London original cast included Ryan Molloy, Stephen Ashfield, Glenn Carter, and Philip Bulcock.

Jersey Boys songs include Big Girls Don't Cry, Can't Take My Eyes Off of You, Oh What a Night, Rag Doll and Sherry.
