Synopsis
MonixArts (Monica Nicolaides) Nu.V.Na - Violence. Four dancers pushed to their extremes, capturing the physical and emotional struggle, when instinct and acquired behaviour clash to maintain control. Contemporary fused with Martial Arts. It's "Nurture Versus Nature". RK Dance (Ryota Kodera) Yamato - Nadeshiko - A performance in which western contemporary dance meets the spirits of Japan. Conveying delicate and graceful, but also fortitudinous nature of Japanese women with simple yet thoroughly refined movements. MurleyDance (David Murley) La Peau (Skin) - La Peau (Skin) explores, through the movement of dance, how the largest organ of the body impacts our existence. The piece is divided into sections, each one focusing on different aspects of the human flesh. www.murleydance.com
