Synopsis
The story begins with the wedding of Orfeo, a musician of almost magical power, to Euridice. The announcement of Euridice's sudden death cuts the wedding celebrations brutally short. For Orfeo, who had loved her for so long, the news is almost beyond endurance. He resolves to do the seemingly impossible: to return her to life, at whatever the cost.

An excellent production with amazing voices.I was particularly captured by Hope/Proserpine (mezzo-soprano Clare Ghigo)with her dramatic stage presence and rich vocal tone.The orchestra was amazing too. Well done to all....
