Synopsis
"This is my country's hour. Today the dragon fights. And through my death will they all see that one death was worth their might? Will they stand fast as the dragon bites?" Merthyr - 1831 Dic Penderyn was innocent - yet he was hanged. An ordinary man of conviction and integrity borne along by the wheels of history in extraordinary times became the first martyr of the Welsh working class.
