Synopsis
Mr Voysey is a wealthy, successful solicitor. When his son and heir Edward makes a shocking discovery, he confronts his father who tries to convince Edward to 'be a man' about the situation. This family saga is a stinging attack on Edwardian bourgeois society and the moral duplicity that lay behind the accumulation of its wealth.
