Using everyday items to make music, we first meet the cast as they brush the stage but are quickly introduced to pipes, kitchen sinks, paper, paint, water and of course their signature bins lids.

At times extremely funny, with plenty of audience participation, this is a show for all the family.

Sound is the only communication between the cast and the audience and when signalled to rhythmically clap along to the routines everyone is more than willing to participate.
Director Luke Cresswell is one of the original performers and knows exactly how to make the show tick along nicely.

One thing is for sure, supermarket shopping will never be the same for any of the audience.

Stomp continues at the Sunderland Empire until 22 February 2014.
