Full casting announced for The Nap

The world premiere of Richard Bean’s new play will open in March in Sheffield

Full casting for Richard Bean's new play about snooker, The Nap, has been announced. Mark Addy (Bobby), Chris Brailsford (Seth), Esther Coles (Stella), Dermot Crowley (Danny), Louise Gold (Waxy), Youssef Kerkour (Mohammad), Ralf Little (Tony) and Rochenda Sandall (Eleanor) will all be joining the already announced Jack O'Connell as the lead role, Dylan.

The production will also feature professional snooker player John Astley.

The Crucible Theatre has been home to the World Snooker Championships since 1977 and The Nap follows Dylan Spokes, who is not your typical snooker player.The play is set in the biggest week of his life, where everyone seems to want a piece of him.

Richard Wilson directs the new comedy by Bean, who wrote One Man, Two Guvnors,Great Britain and Made in Dagenham.

The Nap opens 15 March and runs until 26 March.
