Box of Tricks have announced full casting for their forthcoming autumn tour of Tom Morton-Smith's new play In Doggerland.

Directed by Box of Tricks' Joint Artistic Director and co-founder Hannah Tyrrell-Pinder, In Doggerland features Natalie Grady in the role of Kelly.

Last year Grady won Best Supporting actress at the Manchester Theatre Awards for her role as Minnie Gascoigne in The Daughter in Law for The Library Theatre. Her other credits include the Olivier Award-winning National Theatre production of Rafta Rafta, directed by Nicolas Hytner, Samuel West's production of As You Like It at the Sheffield Crucible and most recently, Mother Courage and her Children for the Library Theatre at the Lowry.

Grady will be joined by Clive Moore as Simon, recent RADA graduate Benjamin Blyth as Linus and Jennifer Tan as Marnie.

In Doggerland tells the story of four people struggling to move forward under the weight of past trauma. The play explores the themes of organ donation and transplantation; loss and grief; family and home; and what makes up the essence of an individual.

The production is the first national touring production for Manchester-based Box of Tricks, a new writing theatre company committed to developing and producing the best new work around; discovering, nurturing and promoting the next generation of playwrights.

In Doggerland opens at The Lowry on 7 November and then embarks on a small tour.
