Fresh from his musical theatre successes with Spring Awakening and Little Shop of Horrors , director James Baker is bringing another fringe first to the region by presenting Tony Award winning composer Jason Robert Brown‘s The Last Five Years to the King’s Arms Theatre, Salford.

The musical chronicles a young couple's romance in a fresh and exciting way: Cathy’s story starts at the end of their relationship; Jamie’s begins on the day they met. The Last Five Years captures some of the most universally felt moments of a modern 21st century romance.

Directed by James Baker with musical direction from Tom Chester, the show is produced by James Baker and King’s Arms Theatre and will run for just one week only.

Casting for The Last Five Years is currently underway and tickets for the limited run will go on sale online at www.kingsarmssalford.com from 10am on Friday 17th January.
