Ray Cooney's Out of Order to tour the UK

Ray Cooney's Olivier Award-winning comedy Out of Order is set to tour the UK in a new production.
Playwright, director and actor Cooney is also directing the revival, which will open in Guildford on 8 March 2017. The show then tours the UK until July.
Initial casting for the show has also been announced, with Shaun Williamson (EastEnders, Extras) taking on the role of George Pigden. Sue Holderness (Only Fools & Horses, Green Green Grass) will play Mrs Willey, Andrew Hall (Butterflies, Coronation Street) is Richard Willey, Susie Amy (Footballers’ Wives) is Jane Worthington and James Holmes (Miranda) is the Waiter.
Out of Order is about Tory junior minister Richard Willey who tries to spend an evening with one of the opposition's secretaries in a Westminster hotel, but things don't go to plan.
Cooney's credits include Run For Your Wife, Two Into One and Caught in the Net. Out of Order was first performed in 1980 under the title Whose Wife is it Anyway?. The production then transferred to the West End in 1990 starring Donald Sinden, Sandra Dickinson and Michael Williams.

Out of Order runs at the Yvonne Arnaud in Guildford between 8 and 11 March, before touring to Brighton, Canterbury, Richmond, Birmingham, Glasgow, Truro, Bromley, Cardiff, Newcastle, Manchester, Dartford, Oxford, Swansea, Southend and Nottingham and more.
