starstarstarstarWould have been 5 if poor Jason Donovan had not been more wooden than the set. Having seen the other reviews, did something happen to JD in Glasgow. He was totally out of place in a superb cast. - Jim11 Jun 11
starstarstarstarstarI saw The Sound of Music in Glasgow on 1 June and although I love Jason Donovan I did not think the part suited him (sorry) - he seemed incredibly tense. Apart from that it was a superb show - Maria, all the children and the Reverend Mother were fantastic. - Amy04 Jun 11
starstarstarstarstarWhat can I say that's not been said it was great from start to finish the cast FANTASTIC superb costumes, scenery, music and I was totally mesmerized with the whole show I didn't want it to end well done Jason Donavan and Verity Rushworth & Marilyn Hill Smith and not forgetting the children and the rest of the cast thank you for a great night Rosemary - Rosemary Tapley22 May 11
starstarstarOh, that's incredibly embarrassing... The most annoying thing is that I know her name is Rushworth. Only yesterday I was raving about her performance and distinctly remember getting it right. Her name has been on the side of my morning bus for the last three months so there is really no excuse. Maybe my brain was subconsciously trying to convey the monumentous strength of her sister Maria by comparing it with Rushmore. Or maybe I should stop writing reviews after midnight. There's a quote for your scrap book, Verity's mum! I'm very sorry for such a glaringly obvious mistake. Let's blame autocorrect, the saviour and villain of all word documents. - Scott Purvis22 May 11
starstarstarstarstarHad the pleasure of going to see this show last night and WOW was it BRILLIANT. Jason Donovan was still the heart throb I remembered him to be while Verity Rushworth was absolutely fabulous as Maria. I has goose bumps running down my spine each time The Mother Abbess (Marilyn Hill Smith) sang Climb Every Mountain. Stunning scenery too and the children were fantastic. Could go back again tonight no problem. A totally fab night. Thanks to all who worked so hard to make it a wonderful show. - Siobhan22 May 11
starstarstarstarstarI'm just back from the Kings Theatre in Glasgow and just had to come and write a few words. The show was outstanding, I loved it from start to finish. Verity Rushworth is a true star and a lovely girl. She graciously agreed to meet my mum after the show and totally made her day if not year!! Thank you for a wonderful show and for being so kind!! - Halina Sawicki21 May 11
starstarstarScott - How can I put this in her scrap book? Its Rushworth - not Rushmore. Very nice comments though! - Verity's mum! - Verity's mum20 May 11
starstarstarCome on Scott if you are going to give Verity a good review you could at least get her name right it is Rushworth - Gillimay20 May 11
