starstarstarstarstara brilliant production that served the playwright well steadily getting better as the weave tightened - alec dunnachie28 Aug 12
starstarstarI went to see it a second time in two weeks, I enjoyed it so much. All the Actors were excellent. Particularly so the Landlord. An intimate little theatre and a great welcome from Leoni who has run Pentameters since 1968! Highly recommended. - Fran23 Aug 12
starstarstarstarstarI attended on opening night and thought it had a great balance of touching moments and laugth out load moments. I think it helped that I had read the writers poetry before attending as I was able to get some of the in-jokes. Go see this it is excellent. - Daniel Jones23 Aug 12
starstarstarstarThe stars do not seem to reflect the words of the review. The audiences love this show and Audience club reaction has been very favourable. Why do reviewers seem compelled to put down the worthy efforts of struggling new artists & writer? Probably because they don't have the guts or talent to get out there and do it themselves! - Conrad Blakemore23 Aug 12
starstarstarstarThis deserves a much better rating than the 2 stars. What is impressive in The Lodger is its stlistic consistency. This is a hugely entertaining piece, where the author's dark mordant humour is carefully woven into a moving tale of a modern version of Beauty and the Beast .. . . . One of the best things I've seen recently - John Cooper20 Aug 12
