starstarstarstarstarSaw this last Friday and thinking of going again with other friends before it finishes this weekend. Felt that the two actors could have been better cast in the opposite roles, but they were still excellent and the two supporting roles brilliantly played too. Short, snappy, an enjoyable hour or so which works very well and is engaging without going over the top. - Matt23 Sep 09

starstarstarstarstartotally agree with whatsonstage review - thoroughly enjoyed it and thought it dealt with matters extremely well. - george11 Sep 09
starstarI was overwhelmed by the aggressiveness of this play. In the intimate environment of the red lion, it was awkwardly intrusive. It could've been much better if the volume was just turned down a notch. The violence and racism of the football 'yob culture' seemed too simplified and gratuitous. The rest of the play was fairly empty, lacking in substance or anything substantial to think about. Some fairly interesting issues were hinted at but not explored much further than the surface. The acting however was pretty good, apart from the odd strange accent, and the fast paced scenes sometimes worked well. A general feeling of despondency, boredom and depression dominated. - Hannah10 Sep 09
