starstarstarstarstarI can appreciate that Beckett's work may not be for all, but such is the nature of Theatre of the Absurd. If you're looking for a strong narrative, with a beginning, middle and end, you're not going to find it here. If, however, you are in search of a wonderfully crafted masterpiece of absurdist literature, this is your play. The trick to enjoying it is to just step back and see the artwork. For those of a more philosophical disposition, there are countless nods to existentialist philosophy and the layers of meaning never seem to cease. I would thoroughly recommend this to students of drama, literature or philosophy. Geoff Keeling manicthoughtsociery.com - Geoff Keeling24 Jun 12
