starstarstarstarstarSaw this on Wednesday 11th July, it was superb, funny one minute sad the next. Marti was terrific, his familiar big smile at the end had the Glasgow audience screaming. Maureen was brilliant, when she was crying for her boys it was so real I could feel her pain, people were in tears. The comedy was first class, I will be going to see this again. - May Paton12 Jul 12
starstarstarstarstarA fabulous show from start to finish. I only went to see Marti in London, 29th December. I had no idea of the storyline. Marti's performance was faultless and I was blown away by the show. Mrs Johnstone was amazing - real tears! I was left speechless x fab, fab, fab! - Sarah Cotton13 Jun 12
starstarstarstarstarI saw Marti in the show in London in Feb and April of this year! The show is absolutely amazing. It is an emotional rollercoaster and has you laughing one minute and crying the next. To say Marti has a pedatory pesona is spot-on. he makes the hairs stand up on the back of your neck especially when he sings 'new shoes on the table'. A must see production. - Jan antrobus13 Jun 12
starstarstarstarstarCompletely and utterly agree with the comments made by Steve Richardson! Just thought I'd also give Marti Pellow and Maureen Nolan an extra special mention. They were both superb, both vocally and with the sheer emotion they portrayed. What an outstanding cast and show! - Gerri Liddle03 Feb 12
starstarstarstarstarHaving just returned from the show, I felt obliged to check previous reviews, as this was one of the most emotionally charged and acted out productions I have seen in a long time. I must concur totally with the previous review, with the most instantaneous standing ovation I have ever seen! So many people were crying around me and emotion was written on the casts faces as well, a testament to what had just occurred? Superlatives are often overused, but this certainly justified all the plaudits. - Steve RIchardson02 Feb 12
