starstarstarI agree with this crit 100%. Maybe we have been spoilt for musicals at Chichester over the last couple of years. But there is something missing in this production which I can't quite put my finger on. There are excellent performances, especially from Hannah Waddingham, but some of the cast just seem to be trying a little too hard to make us enjoy ourselves. The last three musicals have received standing ovations at the curtain call, but this one doesn't. - RWK15717 Jul 12
