In this frequently funny play, Britain is seen to be somewhat bad, but Nigeria is shown to be significantly worse. Lucian Msamati's Kayode displays more colours, comic and serious, than the actor evinced in Comedy of Errors (where he was a hilarious caricature) but to slightly less effect as the play merely highlights but does not truly penetrate the wretched corruption that grips Nigeria. Pamela Nomvete as Kayode's mother is very funny indeed. :) - steveatplays
