starstarstarwent to the matinee yesterday, the performance was wooden and lack lustre, the first half was too long and we considered not staying to watch the second half, but we stayed agreeing to leave for a good train time home, luckily the show finished at a time to enable us to get our train home but we would have left without seeing the end!!! - Jet30 Oct 11
starstarstarstar Jason Howard's voice alone was worth the money - but there was so much more to enjoy with strong performances from all the cast. It's true the central relationship was a little rigid (maybe the direction?) but the fabulous music, the well thought out set and the sheer talent on stage were all a delight and not to be missed. - G Kearns30 Oct 11
starstarstarstarHi Went to see South Pacific last night 29th October. Really enjoyed it. However, we were sat in row 0 in the stalls and the sound was really low. The overhang from the balcony may have had something to do with it as friends sat further forward said it was alright. It spoilt it for us all as we had to really concentrate on what was being said, and the songs lacked umph, mainly due to the lack of volume. Everyone agreed at the interval that the whole performance's volume was poor. Not good enough when you have paid £45 a ticket and the sound engineer is in his booth behind us? Apart from the poor sound, the show was great! Thanks Julie - Mrs Julie Smith30 Oct 11
starstarstarWent last night to see the show and felt there was something lacking - thought it might have been because they had done a matinee and may have been a bit jaded but you are right it was lacking in chemistry between the main stars. Still enjoyed it though - Barbara Lawton27 Oct 11
