starstarstarstarstarNot sure if Moscool and Beau clicked on the right show.. Jeremy Irons isn't in this one and the show is 2 hours long, with an interval. Odd. The show is completely brilliant. This is why Melly Still is so rspected at the moment. The cast and stories are scary and funny and the production brimming with amazing theatre. - Cassox22 Dec 10
starstarstarstarstarAbsolutely agree with Michael -again! 8 folk tales delivered in the raw, including literally the case of the Emperors new Clothes!. On a stage, full of hidden gems like an Advent calendar, flaps are opened for props and furniture, and for cages and crates. Reworking Carol Ann Duffy's new translations for the stage this company create an astonishing piece of theatre. As an alternative/antidote to traditional panto, it has a good mix of tales, some well known and others less so - but be warned if you're taking kids then two are very dark including the first one Bluebeard, though it is all done in a darkly comic style. 'Toby and the Wolf' is a brilliant take on the original story and the dog, cow and pig are equal to any panto ones you will find - it is 2 hours 30 mins long! It is full of laugh out loud moments throughout as well as atmospheric chills - the lighting and live music really enhancing this festive show. Don't miss the chance to see it with AC before the offer closes! Full of laugh out loud moments throughout as well as atmospheric chills - the lighting and live music really enhance the show. starstarstarstarstarSimply wonderful. Definitely not for under 8s since scary at moments but also very funny. Drop everything and book tickets. - Gwen16 Dec 10
starstarstarstarstarThis is the best piece of theatre I have seen in a long while. Inventive, mesmerising, energetic and truly memorable. Everyone with any imagination will enjoy this. Be warned, it is not for the squeamish or anyone looking for a Disney Christmas show and under 8s may find it too disturbing but comes strongly recommended. I loved it, and, judging by last nights audience, everyone else did too! - Habitue14 Dec 10
