If you have seen the show, congered around the theatre and joined in the songs then you will understand why the low key ending is so perfect and counterbalances the fantasy scenes with the five Moes. The show features a lot of subtle interaction with the audience and by avoiding the cliche of a fairytale ending manages to keep this connection, at the end Nomax is sober, slightly wiser and looking to put things right, what more can most of us ever hope for? - JMoe

The reviewer has it about right. there's no doubt tha this production was slick, technically proficient and well performed by the 5 Moes and underrated 5 piece band, but it goes to prove that a great show needs to be more than the sum of its parts. There was little soul in the performance and I didn't care what happened to Nomax, or any of the Moes, to be honest.
Well performed, but ultimately a bit superficial. - Mozzer

This was a standout for me at the Fringe. Amazing harmonies and a great cast and show. - Posull78
