OK so this is somewhat late, but I saw the show at Newcastle as well and
I loved every minute of it. The whole performance flowed effortlessly, the
scene changes were slick and effective and the whole cast seemed to be
having a wonderful time. Johnathan Morris is clearly an accomplished
dancer with a pleasant singing voice, Billy Boyle and Michael Chance
regularly broght the house down with their respective characterisations,
Sophia Thierens made a wonderfully elegant Hope Harcourt and
Rosemary Lyford and Shelley Ottaway were also excellent in their
respective roles. Gemma Craven however was particularly
outstanding as Reno, playing the role to make the most of its
comedic value and throughout the show demonstrating her
fantastic vocal talents.
I only have one complaint about the show at Newcastle - that
it was so late in the tour itinerary. I only managed to see it twice
more after it left Newcastle, but those shows were equally
excellent and well worth the late night drive back from Bradford!
If anyone involved in the show sees this: thankyou to everyone
involved for this excellent piece of musical theatre!

I went to see Anything Goes twice in Sheffield and personally I thougth it was one of the best professional shows i have ever seen.
I thought Gemma Craven was brillant, She never once looked like she wasn't enjoying herself she gave it all she'd got and more.
Johnathon Morris was brillant as well but somtimes I struggled to hear what he was saying, but overall a very good actor.
Lets hope to see more of Gemma Craven on national tours.

The music's great but the book and characterisation of this show are dreadful, and unfortunately some of the principals seem to have realised this and given up. The show improves during the evening and eventually shows some signs of life, but the audience has to be very forgiving for the first half hour. - USER: Whatsonstage.com

Gemma Crave and Billy Boyle must be screaming at their agents for getting contracts in this dire show. I saw the production in Newcastle and always find Ms Craven and Mr Boyle give their all on stage. Thank God!
The set would not be used by any amateur society it was so poor the routines looked poor and the cast inc. Mr J Morris (still famous for the BBC Bread) were totally unsuited to the parts.
It was a disgrace to Cole Porters memory. This tour should have sunk prior to hitting th road.
I can remember Elaine Paige and Bernard Cribbins in the West End revival at the Price Edward a few years ago, and that was excellent.
Lets hope Ms Craven and Mr Boyle can secure productions worthy of their talents when the tour ends.
