starstarstarstarstarFantastic production. Really, really great. Matthew Parish, in particular, as Tintin was simply brilliant and the whole cast worked so hard, but made it seem effortless. I want to try and see the show in the West End at least once more before it closes. Let's hope it goes back on tour! Well done to all involved! - Tom19 Dec 07
starstarstarstarstarAmazing amazing amazing! Did anyone read the review in the Evening standard...? in the words of Catherine Tate "What a load of old s**t!" he didnt know what he was talking about..I appreciate that people have different views..but it was almost like he was in the wrong theatre! As a childrens entertainer, I know what children like and what they respond to, and this did the job completely. Its hard to be able to get adults to enjoy childrens shows but I think its fair to say, this is entertainment for all the family (includint the dog)! - Juliette14 Dec 07
starstarstarstarstarI agree, this was a true delight for adults and kids alike. The acting was as good as I have seen at this theatre and Stephen Finegold excels as Haddock. A brilliant performance. - Tony James31 Aug 07
starstarstarstarstarSimply the best thing I have ever seen at any theatre. I knolw of Tintin but can not say I am a fan. I went to see it at Oxford because I remember the reviews from when it was playing at the Barbican in London. I was completely bowled over by the brilliant performances of the cast and the theatricality of the production. The design is breathtaking allowing the audience to feel they are looking at the cartoon drawings and at the ame time thinking that we are a few feet away from a snow storm in Tibet. You do not have to be a fan of Tintin to enjoy this piece but yoiu do have to be an idiot to miss it. Special mention to Matthew Parish playing Tintin who portrays the young hero with a real sincerity which immediately captivates. Miltos Yerolimou who plays Snowy the dog with a wonderful trick of showing the "humanity" of the character and at the same time playing with a joyous relish. But the show is ultimately stolen by Stephen Fingold's Captain Haddock. How he can play one minute heartbreaking pathos and the next hillarious clown is beyond belief. A truly wonderful performance in a truley wonderfel production. Please see this show. - Anthony Limes22 Aug 07
