Pleasance Courtyard17-29 August, 12:30As the enterprise editor of The Sunday Times, Rachel Bridge knows a thing or two about setting up and running successful businesses. She shares her top tips – including rise daily at 5am, don’t invent anything and never open a shop - over 50 minutes in this occasionally dry but insightful lecture. While Dragon’s Den and The Apprentice may make entertaining viewing for the masses, I’d recommend this show for would-be entrepreneurs only. It’s too specific for those not interested in business and too general for those already making a go of it. For the aspirant target audience, though, there’s plenty of good advice, case studies and snacks up for grabs here - plus, for the really keen, further reading care of Bridge’s new book of the same title.
