Just seen this dire production in Cambridge : why is it still touring!! If only I'd seen this review before going I would not have bothered. It was a waste of time and money - might as well have watched a few Nescafe adverts at home instead. Despite a few laughs around me I felt bored rigid and increasingly irritated that I had been conned out of good money to watch something which could have had much more verve and excitement if an amateur group had taken it on. - Rebecca

A Poor show in every sense. I regret spending money on such rubbish. - Imark

Well, I don't understand, my friends and I were there on Tuesday at the New Theatre and, like the vast majority of the audience, enjoyed it very much. - Kitty Michaels

Just been to see this awful play in Hull .we ,and lots of others walked out during the interval .It wasn't funny ,the staging was poor ,it was very outdated .The only decent actor was the little dog! It's a good job I won the tickets as no way would I have paid for this rubbish. We had been to see 'The songs from Sister Act ' the night before ,which was absolutely wonderful, and I would recommend everyone to go and see .I have seen hundreds of shows ,but Star quality is the first one I have walked out of .There is no Star ,and no Quality in this show! - K .holden

Absolutely dire, half empty theatre at the start, even fewer after the intermission. - Maureen
