Podcast: Roger Rees at What You Will Q&A

Last night (26 September 2012), theatregoers joined us on our Outing to Roger Rees' What You Will at the Apollo Theatre.

What You Will is a 90-minute gallop through all things Shakespearean, with Rees telling stories from his own life, discussing his favourite Shakespearean actors plus performing some of the Bard's most famous soliloquies.

Following the show, we were joined by Rees for a Q&A.

He discussed Shakespearean roles that he still wants to play, and talked about what it's like performing a solo show as opposed to a show with a company of others. He then discussed how performances of Shakespeare's work has changed over the years, and how it is still changing now.

Finally, he talked about Nicholas Nickleby, one of the roles he is most well known for, as well as telling us about his time in America, and about Peter and the Starcatcher, the Broadway show that he co-directed, which could be heading for London soon.
