In the glory of a United Kingdom, Oedipus stands firm, strong and defiant. His army that brought his nation to triumph basks in victory. When the King hears of a prophesy that could bring ruin to all that he has built, his attention quickly moves to correct it, as he searches deeper for the truth, the ruin is all his.
This Sophocles masterpiece marks the first of the playwrights work to be presented through the Lazarus storytelling method of text, movement and music. A large ensemble shall create a Kingdom at the very edge of collapse, a city where the very core of society will never be the same again.
