Date: 29 August 2012

April De Angelis' Royal Court comedy Jumpy, starring Tamsin Greig and Doon Mackichan, has transferred to the Duke of York's theatre, where it opened to press last night (28 August 2012).

The play, which follows the fraught relationship between a mother and daughter, also features Bel Powley, Selin Hizli, Richard Lintern, James Musgrave, Ewan Stewart, Ben Lloyd-Hughes and Amanda Root.

First night guests at the after-party, held at the West End's Mint Leaf restaurant, included Rocky Horror writer Richard O'Brien, BBC presenter Vanessa Feltz, Indian comic Sanjeev Bhaskar and the cast of Posh, the fellow Royal Court transfer show which recently finished a run at the Duke of York's.

Directed by Nina Raine, Jumpy continues to 3 November 2012.
