1st Night Photos: RSC's Julius Caesar rides into town

The Royal Shakespeare Company's acclaimed new production of Julius Caesar, featuring an all-black cast, has transferred to the West End's Noel Coward Theatre, were it opened to press last night (15 August 2012, previews from 8 August).

Starring Jeffery Kissoon (Julius Caesar), Adjoa Andoh (Portia), Paterson Joseph (Brutus), Cyril Nri (Cassius) and Ray Fearon (Mark Antony), the production is directed by artistic in waiting Gregory Doran and continues in the West End until 15 September.

Opening night guests included: Antonia Fraser, Trevor Phillips, Hugh Ross, Siobhan Redmond, Roger Allam, Desmond Barrit, Yasmin Le Bon, Rosario Dawson, Sam Troughton, Lucian Msamati and Oliver Ford Davies.
