Show Pics: Singin' in the Rain dances into new home at Palace

Date: 15 February 2012

The producers of Jonathan Church's Chichester Festival Theatre production of Singin' in the Rain have released production photos of the show in its new home. The transfer opens at the West End's Palace Theatre tonight (15 February, previews from 4 February 2012).

The musical, based on the classic 1952 MGM film starring Gene Kelly and Debbie Reynolds, is brought to the stage with choreography by Andrew Wright. The cast, led by Adam Cooper, Scarlett Strallen and Daniel Crossley, reprise their Chichester roles.

In addition to Cooper as Don Lockwood, Crossley as Cosmo Brown, Strallen as Kathy Seldon, the company also includes Katherine Kingsley as Lina Lamont, Michael Brandon as RF Simpson and Sandra Dickinson as Dora Bailey and Miss Dinsmore.

Singin' in the Rain is initially booking at the Palace Theatre until 29 September 2012.
